Course objectives
The field trip to Croatia will take place from October 9 to October 14 2017. Our destination is going to be the city of Daruvar, home to a large Czech community, which still keeps their own educational institutions ranging from nursery to Czech section at a grammar school. Students will have an opportunity to get an insight into the issues of the language of Czech minority living abroad. Students will find out something about the differences between Czech language as spoken in Czechia and in Croatia. They will acquire some practical skills in teaching Czech in foreign speaking environment.
Syllabus
  • Předběžný program (změna vyhrazena): PONDĚLÍ 9. 10. 2017 – 8:00 odjezd od Janáčkova divadla. ÚTERÝ 10. 10. – dopoledne prohlídka Daruvaru + návštěva knihoven, odpoledne přednáška o historii regionu a tradičních zvycích ve Svazu Čechů, návštěva nakladatelství Jednota. STŘEDA 11. 10. – dopoledne návštěva vzdělávacích institucí, aktivní vedení výuky, odpoledne pěší výlet po okolí, večer literární kvíz pro účastníky exkurze a studenty české sekce daruvarského gymnázia. ČTVRTEK 12. 10. – dopoledne návštěva vzdělávacích institucí, aktivní vedení výuky, odpoledne výlet do Bjelovaru, kulatý stůl s tamní českou menšinou, po cestě zastávka v nejstarší české vesnici v Chorvatsku Ivanovo Selo (etnografická sbírka). PÁTEK 13. 10. – dopoledne návštěva vzdělávacích institucí, aktivní vedení výuky, účast na odborných přednáškách v rámci Sympozia o českém jazyce, možnost přednést vlastní příspěvek (nabídka platí zvláště pro doktorandy), ve večerních hodinách odjezd domů. SOBOTA 14. 10. – příjezd do Brna.

Active involvement, teaching methods, reflexion on the course of the excursion after the return.
