Course objectives
Each seminar is introducing significant works of Czech and world literature.
Course uses different types of teaching method (multimedia presentations, teamwork, methods of personal experience, creativity) and theoretical concepts which helps to actively understand author’s work and will help to create student´s own personal attitude.
Every seminar has different structure and is guided by two tutors which will introduce both sides of current topic from practical and theoretical point of view.

- be able recognize and evaluate strategies in popular literature
- define the place of popular literature in a cultural environment
- receive a perception of postmodernism
- interpret and see connections with other literature
- work with the method of gender oriented interpretation
- reflect personal literary experience and point of view in context of personal
- interpret and analyze a poetic language
- discuss film adaptation in contrast of original poetic language
- compare a different interpretative approach
