Prerequisites
CJQ020 Modern Czech Syntax II
Students are expected to pass the courses in phonetics and phonology, morphology and word-formation, syntax and lexicology before taking the course in stylistics. This requirement also applies to the introductory linguistic course - Úvod... and to courses in litarary theory. A lecture in stylistics (CJBB80) running paralelly with this course is recommended for students who attend stylistic seminars.

Course objectives
The main aim of the seminar is to provide the students with skills necessary for analyzing texts of all kinds from the viewpoint of stylistics.
