Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain main periods of history of European Art between 1500-1800.
Syllabus
  • "Quattrocento" - the Early Renaissance in Italy (15th century).
  • "Late Gothic" art in the Central Europe (15th century).
  • "Cinquecento" - the High Renaissance in Italy (16th century).
  • Mannerism.
  • Protobaroque and Baroque (the end of 16th - 17th century).
  • Late baroque, rococo style and Classicism (18th století).
