Course objectives
The main purpose of the course is to provide knowledge of the main Europena Court centres of the Early Modern period (16-18 centuries) The goal is to outline main aspects of court art and culture and also in form of excursion and field trip provide opportunity to deal and interpret concrete object of residential culture - in the Bučovice Castle.

Teaching methods
Seminars, 1½ hours per week, plus half an hour tutorials to be arranged individually with students.
Assessment methods
Equally weighted (50 %) written test and oral examination, final project.
