Course objectives
The aim is to present turning points in cultural history on the basis of specialist literature and selected works of art.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to have a basic orientation in several moments of crisis in European history, their (mainly political) causes and artistic representations.

  • The course consists of lectures and film presentations. The presentations are currently updated, as well as the lectures. For Fall 23 this is the structure: 9/27 lecture: Oswald Spengler 4 Oct.
