Prerequisites
Prof. Kenneth Hay, Ph.D. is the head of the Contemporary Art and Design at University of Leeds as well as a painter. No preliminary requisities are required. The course is lectured in English without translation.

Course objectives
The goal of the course is to introduce into ideas of contemporary fine art. Eight lectures consists of themes of contemporary art and aesthetics: an overview, Italian aesthetic motives in European heritage, a derridian concept of meaning, ideas of contemporary artworks in general, art and aesthetics as well as art education in Great Britain.
