The course is intended for advanced students with the capabilities of reading and intepreting an English text and who had completed some basic course of philosophy during their bc. or mgr. study.

Course objectives
The aim of the course lies in reconstructing and learning Aristotle's aesthetics and his theory of art and in appreciating both, its strong influence on the European art in the course of Western history of art and its vitality the contemporary debate of art and culture.
Learning outcomes
Familiarity with the elements of Aristotelian Aesthetics and Theory of Arts; its usage and utility for the contemporary crisis of arts and culture.
