Course objectives
The subject is focused to get knowledge of protection principles of intangible cultural heritage on the national and international level. Students will be informed about the mechanism of this protection in the Czech Republic. They will be in training for preparation of nomination folk culture demonstrations and they will take a practice to inscribing of selected phenomenons on the national inventory.
Learning outcomes
After having completed the course, the student will be able to identify the manifestation of culture important for inclusion in programme of protection intangible cultural heritage. He gains a capability to describe and to analyze the manifestation in context of cultural and social development. He will be able to create the presentation for inscription on the lists of intagible cultural heritage UNESCO. Teachers of this course are ethnologists and personalities of practical sphere, which engage in problems of intangible cultural heritage and its protection.
