Course objectives
The aim of the course will acquaint students with the methodology of minor diploma thesis.
Syllabus
  • 1 / 1 ambitious translation of the text, a preliminary analysis of the text, a corpus of translations of the functional style, the author of a literary school or + own translation, possibly lexical and syntactic analysis 2 / 2 Text translation - a contrastive analysis of 2 texts from different functional styles with a common element in his own translation + 3 / translatologická analysis of the original and 2 Czech translations of the same work, compared to receiving a work in both cultures, a comparaison of different translators, translation strategies
