Course objectives
The aim of the teachers' training is to enable students to apply their competencies in the real environment of educational institutions, allowing students to use their acquired theoretical knowledge from philological and pedagogical psychological training. The primary goal of the teachers' training is to give students the opportunity to develop important skills that are key to the pedagogical profession under the guidance of experienced teachers and other experts. An integral part of the practice is the evaluation and self-evaluation process. Due to the current trends in teaching, there is a strong emphasis on training in the field of modern technologies, especially e-learning.
Learning outcomes
During the course the student will get familiarized with a broad range of aspects of everyday teachers' work. It will help them to plan effectively their own teaching, put it in practice properly, and then carry out an adequate evaluation, which is a necessary self-reflection. Due to the fact that the practice is focused on a wide range of forms of teaching, students will be well prepared for different ways of teaching practice (both for full-time teaching, elearning, blended learning). One of the outputs is the portfolio that students have created and consulted continuously during the course.
