Course objectives
The objective of the course is to help students acquire basic knowledge and, above all, elementary skills in the field of Italian grammar and vocabulary: italian normative grammar, vocabulary developpement, oral expression training.
Output language competence corresponding to CEFR: A2.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to talk about personal past and present events, to talk about future projects, to give instructions, to express agreement/disagreement.
Syllabus
  • Main topics: Past tense: passato prossimo and imperfetto. Future tense: futuro semplice present tense: stare + gerundio Imperative (informal)
  • Personal pronouns and adjectives (direct and indicrect), indefinite and possessive pronouns and adjectives.
  • Lexical areas: everyday activities, family, travels and (public) transport, personality and physical appearance, clothes.
  • Textual ability: Students have to choose and read one of the bilingual publications edited by EDIKA.

Seminar and additional excercises (also in ELF). Students have to choose and read one of the bilingual Italian/Czech publications edited by EDIKA for A1/A2 level of language.
