Course objectives
- learn to conduct interviews with personalities in the field - to gain practical knowledge of what a journalistic text looks like and how it is created - processing interviews, press releases and other formats into relevant media outputs - learn how to create media outputs such as interview, reportage, story, review, popularization text - learn editorial work - actively seek opportunities and reach out to the parties concerned in order to generate media outlets - identify relevant resources (people, publications, conferences) for the industry community - to obtain a general information science and library overview
Learning outcomes
- each student is obliged to publish at least one media output in two weeks, the format of which is consulted with the course teacher.

- the course is taught practically, students process individual media outputs and their form is consulted with the teacher and possibly modified before publication
Assessment methods
- it is necessary to obtain at least 25 points for completion of the course. 1. interview - 4 points 2. Review of a technical book - 5 points 3. own essay (information science, librarianship, design, data management, technology in education ...) - 8 points 4. report from the conference (including interviews with selected participants and conference invitations) - 7 points 5. text for community support and industry news (TrekFlow, KISKforum, Infokon, ...) - 3 points 6. Author format after agreement with the teacher of the subject
