Course objectives
The course covers the library and literary aspects of the study program. In the historical context and Romanesque territorial approach, the students mediate the phenomena of aesthetics, authorship, literary field, book market, publishing or acquisition issues. The course has two main objectives, given the position in the curriculum curriculum:
1) To give students relevant knowledge of the book market and library processes against the background of literature, society and humanities;
2) To lead students to realize and understand the factors that have played a role in the development of writer, literary field and acquisition concepts in the past and which are the drivers of contemporary events.
The competence objective of the course is to give students the ability to reflect verbally and in writing the individual topics of the subject.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course student:
- knows the historical perspective of concepts of beauty, author, text, work, recipient etc;
- understands the development of the magazine and book market;
- understands, in historical context, the development and structure of the literary field and the publishing house;
- is able to apply in practice the acquired knowledge about current acquisition practice and statistics on the activities of memory institutions;
- has a relevant overview of, and is able to interact with, thematic literature;
- is able to carry out a critical review of subject topics both verbally and in writing
