Cíle předmětu
Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s rolí pojmů ve vědeckých teoriích, představit různá pojetí pojmu informace v informační vědě, důkladně je analyzovat a prozkoumat jejich vliv na různá chápání informační vědy. Kromě přehledu rozličných směrů v informační vědě je účelem předmětu také představení originálního pojetí pojmu informace a informační vědy, které vzešlo z epistemologických zkoumání založených na kritickém realismu.
Výstupy z učení
Na konci tohoto předmětu budou studenti:
  • rozumět roli pojmů ve vědeckých teoriích;
  • znát řadu definic pojmu informace a umět je zařadit do určitého teoretického rámce;
  • chápat vliv jednotlivých definic na různá pojetí informační vědy;
  • orientovat se pojetí informace a informační vědy založeného na realistické teorii poznání.
