Course objectives
The subject focuses on linguistic policy and planning, codification, terminology, basic aspects of semantics and lexicology.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: 1. Adequately use the contributions of the different linguistic theories in semantics and lexicology. 2. Analyse the evolution of the Catalan normative language and the factors that have intervened on it. 3. Use varied and appropriate lexical and terminological resources in formal and informal communicative situations.
