Course objectives
Cílem předmětu je prezentovat Modernismus, politické a kulturní hnutí vyvinuté v Katalánsku koncem devatenáctého a počátku dvacátého století (přibližně 1888-1911). Projevy Modernismu budou studovány především v oblasti architektury, výtvarného umění (malířství, sochařství, hudba, design, dekorativní umění a grafika) a politiky.

The course aims to present Modernisme, a political and cultural movement developed in Catalonia in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries (approximately 1888-1911). The manifestations of Modernism will be studied mainly in the area of architecture, fine arts (painting, sculpture, music, design, decorative arts and graphics) and politics.
Learning outcomes
Na konci kurzu studenti musejí mít hluboké znalosti o vývoji katalánského modernismu.

At the end of the course students must know in depth the development of Catalan modernism in every way.
