Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to master the knowledge concerning historical and topographical development of Rome and its agglomeration, to determine pricipal axes of the urbanisation process and construction of the most important architectures in the monumental zone of the city and the transformations of it.

lectures to the topics, explanations of the topographical areas and situations of republican, imperial and late Rome analysis of the writen sources and excavations

Completion Requirements for the examination: - Basic orientation in the individual spheres of research in the branch - Knowledge of specialist literature, periodicals and outcomes of the work of significant researchers within the scope of the lecture and the assigned literature Written test, final oral exam
