Prerequisites (in Czech)
Přednáška je primárně určena studentům oboru Kulturní studia Číny, ale mohou ho navštěvovat i studenti z jiných oborů. Musejí ovládat čínskou i českou transkripci a zeměpis Číny.

Course objectives (in Czech)
Posluchači se v této přednášce seznámí s významnými stavebními památkami čínské kulturní oblasti v chronologickém sledu. Rovněž poznají staré urbanistické koncepce a základní stavební principy. Postupně budou upozorněni na vývojové a regionální odlišnosti.

Na konci tohoto kurzu bude student schopen:

- rozpoznat základní typy tradiční čínské architektury;
- rozumět starým urbanistickým koncepcím a základním stavebním principům;
- kriticky nahlížet čínskou historickou architekturu;
Syllabus
  • 1-2 introduction; ancient tombs and constructions;
  • 3-4 pagodas; rock temples;
  • 5-6 urbanism, construction place disposition; bridges and fortresses;
  • 7-8 the oldest extant buildings; wooden constructions;
  • 9-10 residential architecture; gardens;
  • 11-12 state patronage of buildings, palaces and tombs;
