Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of French and to develop the vocabulary and communicative competence (level B1 CEFR).
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand explained vocabulary;
- use the vocabulary in spoken and written language;
- explain and apply grammar discussed in seminars;
- understand more difficult texts and to translate them into czech and vice versa;
- apply the acquired competencies in the final exam: use grammar rules acquired during the seminar I - IV and speak about an issue concerning Spanish history, geography and culture.

  • Review III.
  • Review of past tenses (pretérito perfecto, indefinido e imperfecto).
  • Travel, public transport, to ask for information.
  • Prepositions, reflexive verbs.
  • Pretérito pluscuamperfecto.
  • Relative clauses: indicativo o subjuntivo.
  • Phrasal verbs.
  • People's description.
  • Temporal clauses. Future and subjunctive.
  • adjectives with ser/estar, ser and estar with preposition DE.
  • Purpose clauses. Uses of para.
  • Review.

Teaching methods
During the classes will take place theoretical lectures and exercises of the discussed issues, it is also assumed that the students will do some preparation at home.
Assessment methods
Written examination aimed at testing the language skills and oral discussion to prove the ability of speaking.
