Course objectives

The main objectives of the course are the following:
making students aware to conservation work;
Practical conservation of some museum objects

Syllabus

Safety of work;
Inorganic materials - iron and its alloy, copper amd its alloy, silver, gold, zinc, plumbum, tin, aluminium and their alloy.Conservation;
Organic materials - wood, paper, textile, leather, bone and horn, wicker, straw, reed-mace, folk bread, dried fruit. Conservation;
Making of copies of metal objects;
Methods of conservator's works and documentation;
Practical conservation of some object and documentation;
