Course objectives
In this course students are introduced in a number of essentials about the Netherlands, covering various fields: geography, politics, media, culture, etc. Every class focusses on a certain topic. Main objective of this course is that students not only acquire basic knowledge about the Netherlands, but also that they are able to formulate their point of view in current discussions.

A combination of lecture and seminar (two hours per week); within the class a combination of teacher-led activities and student-centered learning activities will be employed.
