Course objectives
This course gives a basic insight into phraseology and idioms of Dutch both theoretically and practically. In the course we focus on phraseology and idioms in Dutch partially in comparison with Czech. Students will learn how to work with a corpus. Students also learn how to make a dictionary on the example of Czech-Dutch dictionary. At the end of the course the students will be able to understand and expalain the basic principles of Dutch lexicology and phraseology.
