Course objectives
At the end of the course students should have read two books of the reading list for germanists thoroughly and have an idea of the other eight books wich where part of the curriculum.

Teaching methods
Groups of appr. 15 students read 10 books of the reading list for germanists. Evrery student reads two books thoroughly and prepares with another student a presentation of information an tasks for the others. The groups lead advanced students (tutors).
