Course objectives
The lecture gives a survey about the political and social structure in the German society since 1945 by several topics. Afterwards, the students will be able to widen their mind of the German speaking countries independently.
Learning outcomes
One of the main sources of the course is a didactic reader on current social and political issues in the German-speaking world. Reader Politics and Society. Materials for the classroom (MUNIpress 2020, also accessible to students and teachers on the MUNIspace platform).

Diese Vorlesung ist als Weiterführung und Ergänzung der "Einführung in die Geschichte und Kultur der deutschsprachigen Länder" sowie der landeskundlichen Themen der sprachpraktischen Übungen aus den ersten beiden Studienjahren gedacht.
