Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to analyse and to demonstrate the etymological relativity of Slavic languages and to demonstrate their knowledges in the analysis of the given Slavic data.
Syllabus
  • 1. Dialectal split of proto-Slavic 2. Development of nasal vowels, yers. 3. Ways of classification of Slavic languages. 4. Slavic "Urheimat" 5. General characterization of Slavic languages. 6. Charactristic diferential features of Slavic languages in younger development. 7. Culturalhistorical and social developments on Slavic territories. 8. Charecterization of individual Slavic languages in phonology, morphology and lexicon. 9. Common relationships between Slavic languages. 10. Relationship between Slavic and non-Slavic languages. 11. Elementar lexical identity and non-identity in Slavic languages
