Course objectives
The aim of the course is to work with original texts, reading, analyzing and interpreting the texts of selected German philosophers of the 20th and 21st centuries. The focus of the course focuses on a)reading of texts before the seminar; b) seminar activity, comments, interpretations, paraphrases, objections, remarks or amendments.
Learning outcomes
Students can identify representative representatives of contemporary German philosophy and its main currents, explain the context of selected discussions of the 20th and 21st centuries in Germany, interpret the main arguments of selected texts. The motivated student is able to create a representative cross-section of the topics of contemporary German philosophy, prepare and reconstruct the main topics of the read texts.
