Course objectives
The purpose of the course is to analyze the most interesting issues of contemporary Polish culture in the Central European context (Czech Republic, Slovakia).
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Nieznośny ciężar stereotypu. Obraz Czecha i Polaka w tekstach kultury. Europa Środkowa: mit czy byt? Zagubiony w dyskursie, czyli o recepcji polskiego romantyzmu. Wyobraźnia wyzwolona i polski kłopot z surrealizmem. (Polski) Marzec, Praska Wiosna. Rok 1968 w kulturze. Banici, wygnańcy, nomadowie. Rzecz o literaturze emigracyjnej. Nadzorować i karać. Czeska i polska literatura w politycznym kontekście (teatr) Nadzorować i karać. Czeska i polska literatura w politycznym kontekście (film), m. in. Ucho (1970), reż. K. Kachyňa; Przesłuchanie (1982), reż. R. Bugajski. Między doświadczeniem a turystyką historyczną. Obraz holocaustu w (pop)kulturze. Film animowany. Współczesne resentymenty i inspiracje.
