Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide student with a knowledge of the current issues of positive psychology - its background, main subjects and the range of research. The interest is paid to the study of positive emotions, positive traits and qualities of personality (human strengths) and the research on quality of life, as well as to some aspects of positive psychotherapy.

Assessment methods
Lectures, class discussion, reports. It is supposed active participation of students during seminars. The course is completed by colloquium. Final evaluation: delivering of seminar work or oral presentation, class discussion.
