Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the field of Clinical neuropsychology, basic neuropsychological diagnostics, possibilities of neuropsychological rehabilitation, neuropsychotherapy, ergotherapy.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will be able to basic orientation in clinical neuropsychology and the possibilities of its application in practice.

  • 1. Basics of Clinical Neuropsychology - Brief History, Definitions, Terminology, ... 2. Neuropsychological diagnostics - tests, battery, validity, neuropsychological examination and finding Neuropsychology in neurology 3. Stroke; Epilepsy 4. Traumatic brain disorders; cerebellar lesions and cognition 5. Neurodegenerative Disease - Dementia 6. Multiple sclerosis, Hydrocephalus, Huntigton's disease Neuropsychology in psychiatry 7. Addictive substances 8. Schizophrenic disorders 9. Affective disorders - depression, bipolar affective disorder 10. Eating disorders; personality disorders 11. Children's neuropsychology 12. Neuropsychological rehabilitation; neuropsychotherapy, ergotherapy 13. Forensic neuropsychology; neuropsychology - prospects for the future.
