Course objectives
Intensive study seminar takes place outside of Brno. Students work in groups based on levels, subject matter and literature for each level is announced approximately a month before the seminar is held. The aim of the seminar is to deepen and widen the knowledge and abilities taught in compulsory subjects (language, history, literature) under the supervision and tutorial of particular teachers from the Institute of Classical Studies.
Learning outcomes
Students should improve:
- their competences language skills, particularly speaking and listening;
- ability to understand and interpret original texts;
- knowledge of grammar;
- knowledge of Modern Greek Literature and History.
Syllabus
  • Subject matter and literary sources for each group will be posted approximately a month before the intensive study seminar is held.

  • Texts and exercises are provided by the tutors.

100% active attendance, assigned homework and handing in of homework.
