Course objectives
The course aims to extend the basic preparation of students for pedagogical practice. Another important goal is to make students acquainted with the process of acquiring the four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) and linguistic means (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation). Last but not least, attention will be focused on error handling + feedback.
Learning outcomes
Students will have a good understanding of: How learners acquire the Language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and Language system (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation). They will be able to proof their capacity of effective lesson planning and they will know how and when to correct learners' errors. Moreover they will be able to give feedback.

  • 1) Receptive language skills - training and feedback 2) Productive language skills - training and feedback 3) Teaching pronunciation 4) Teaching grammar 5) Teaching vocabulary 6) Types, structure of lesson unites 7) Warmers. Curriculum. Textbook. 6) Audiovisual resources and IT in the classroom. 7) Authentic materials and language games in the classroom. 9) Control, testing, evaluation and feedback.
