Course objectives
The course focuses on the introduction and orientation of students of the theory of interactive media with contemporary art production in the new media environment. It emphasizes the timeliness of information, continuity and depth of attention, the immediacy of meetings. The course provides space for dialogue and interpretation of contemporary art in the new media environment.
Learning outcomes
The aim is to develop a lasting interest in current art events in the new media environment, based on its deeper understanding and experience.
Syllabus
  • • 1) Introductory lesson: Course content, requirements for termination
  • • 2) Contemporary art exhibitions and new media art shows - local context and abroad. Selection of current publications in our country and abroad.
  • • 3) Introduction to the issue of the future visited exhibition - theoretical and historical framework.
  • • 4) Visit a selected exhibition of new media art in the gallery.
  • • 5) Debate on the exhibition visited - with the help of recommended literature, the setting seen in the context of new media art, the development of the artist's or artistic group's creation, or the approach to creation. • 6) Introduction to the issue of the future visited exhibition - theoretical and historical framework.
  • • 7) Visit a selected exhibition of new media art in the gallery.
