Course objectives

The aim of the course is to present a comprehensive and deepened overview of Ukrainian history since the mid 19th century to gaining Ukrainian independence in 1991.

Learning outcomes

The student will gain knowledge on Ukrainian history from the mid 19th century till the year 1991.

Syllabus

• Historical-social situation od 2nd half of 19th century and first years of 20th century untill WW1. Relolution year 1905.
• Ukraine in interwar period
• Ukraine inn the WW2
• Ukraine after ww2 untill the independence
• Crimean Tatars and Karaims.
