Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain most important capitols of contemporary art an important persons of czech and international art
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: - to explain current theoretical questions connected with art - explain and convey the trends of world and domestic art to a wider audience - to name and characterize the creation of current personalities of Czech and world art.
Syllabus
  • Basic capitols of contemporary art: abstaction, figuraly and informal painting, concept, minimal art, land art, body art, postmodern art; great persons of contemporary czech art, actualy persons in Brno; the holders of Chalupecky Prize.
