Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: explain the key concepts of contemporary ontology and epistemology; understand their historical roots; understand their connection to other disciplines; make use of the acheived knowledge in the creation of the Introduction to Humanities course curriculum taught at high schools.

  • Ontology and natural science in the 20th century (matter, time, space, movement).
  • Analytical metaphysics.
  • The analysis of knowledge.
  • The revision of the traditional approach.
  • Theories of truth.
