Selected chapters from the history of libraries and librarianship (literary culture and libraries in Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, ancient Greece and Rome, christian libraries, Middle Ages in Europe, Renaissance in Italy) 2. History of Bohemian and Moravian libraries up to the Early Modern Age (approx. 1526) 3. Modern history of Bohemian and Moravian libraries up to 1918 4. Libraries and librarianship in Czechoslovakia in 1918-1936
