Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to teach students basic rules of web design. At the end of the course, students should be able to do analysis of websites and find mistakes in their drafts. They should be able to create their own websites according to the standards of accessibility and usability. The course is aimed at practical work. We will be solving the real problems that we encounter during the lessons. A significant part of the course will be devoted to SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

  • Content: 1) Introduction 2) Web technology and metadata standards 3) Web design 4) Web usability, information architecture 5) Web standards and recommendations 6) Web accessibility, usability testing 7) Web usability in practice 8) SEO : on-page, off-page a behavioral factors, Google Ranking Factors, SEO tools 9) propagation of the web site, improving position in browsers, PPC advertisement 10) Web 2.0, Web 3.0,... (internet future) 11) Creating a library website Projects presentations at the end of the semester.
