(1) Informing about concepts of readers and readership since the oldest to the present times, (2) guiding into readership surveys in the Czech Republic (2007, 2010, 2013)

  • (1) Concepts and approaches (an overview) - Antiquity - Middle Ages - Romanticism - 20th century: Constanz, Buffalo, Birmingram Schools (2) Surveys (2007, 2010, 2013) - why to do it - how to do it - methodology - reading, buying, borrowing - what do we read? - fiction - reading and internet - reader socialization - comparisons - conclusions
