Course objectives
Seminar lectures related to the subject VIKBA06 Information Science 2. Course is propaedeutic to the terminology used in English texts given in the course of Information Science 2. It is suitable for students with weak English skills who have difficulties in understanding texts. It focuses on information science-related terminology, its meaning, interpretation and translation, and enables students to work effectively with the content of scientific texts. Attention is paid to the troublesome terms and passages, which students do not understand. We don’t leave techniques for working with text and notes out. The course is conducted through personal meetings with full-time students and group online meetings with distance students.

Teaching methods
Educational methods: - reading – identification and analysis of concepts – notetaking techniques - class discussion - conceptual delineation according TDKIV (Terminological Database of Librarianship and Information Science) and reference books.
