Course objectives
The objective of the seminar is to illustrate the cohesion of the contemporary mind of the Russian society with its further and nearer (not only Russian) history on the examples of the pivotal personalities of the Russian political, ecclesiastic, spiritual, economic and intellectual world. The seminar targets the evaluation of the notable personalities of the Russian history and the present, in the chronology since the Kiev Russia till nowadays ; it targets also the review concerning the role of these personalities in their time period and their influence on the following generations, it reflects their point of view. To this idea it is related also the objective to identify the formation and the survival of the opinion models in the form of the individual and collective stereotypes which represent the cradle of the traditions that are perceptible also to the present Russian society.
