Course objectives
The course focuses on the techniques of Schenkerian analysis and on the "pitch class sets theory" by Allen Forte. The strudents will be iuntroduced to several other analytical approaches (Meyer, semiotical approach etc.).

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Výuka probíhá formou přednášky a navazujícího cvičení, účast na cvičení je povinná. Během semestru je vyžadována domácí práce studentů. Kurz je zakončen ústní zkouškou, její součástí je obhajoba vlastního analytického projektu.
