Course objectives
Main aims of the course are:
- to become familiar with problems concerning documents from the historical point of view;
- to acquire methods of documents’ classification;
- to become familiar with practical work with documents;
- to use acquired knowledge during a preparation of a scientific text;
- to apply acquired knowledge on the creation of various types of scientific texts.;
The subject mater contains the teoretical and practical part: the lecture will inform about basic kinds of printed information sources. This knowledge will be tested ibn seminars during searching information and the creation of the scientific text.

Assessment methods
The course is based on methods of presentation, in-class discussion and individual work of students. Requirements for obtaining the credit are: writing a seminar paper and passing a written test.
