Precondition - courses History of philosophy I-IV. Acquaintance with Kant´s work and German is welcome.

Course objectives
The objective of the course is to introduce students into the philosophy of I. Kant and German idealism. After the completion the students will be able to explain major problems of Kant´s transcendental idealism, their genesis, structure and Kant´s solutions. They will be able to interpret the contents and method of the Critique of Pure reason, basics of practical philosophy of I. Kant. They will be able to evaluate rationally the overall importance of his philosophy for modern European culture.

3 written tests, attendance at tests mandatory test consists of 16 questions worth 1 point each minimum number is 12 points oral colloquium preconditioned by successful completion of at least one written test.
