Student will be able to: - understand any speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc - deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken - deal with unprepared conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life - identify a moderate number of character components and high-frequency characters in areas of immediate need - identify key facts and some details in descriptive material on daily life

  • Teaching Boya Chinese I (Gaoji) CH 1-5.
  • ●The new feature in Boya Chinese is that several topics appear in both dialogue and essay forms. By covering the same topic twice, students will be able to not only learn the vocabulary and grammatical structures better, but also to see clearly the difference between speaking and writing in Chinese.
  • ●The articles in this book are all related to contemporary issues in China, and their focus is on everyday life rather than the weighty political and social essays. Some of the topics are controversial; we believe this will evoke students' interest and increase their participation in class duscussions.

评分標準： 1) 出席：10% （＊只有2次没有理由的请假！！！） 2) 作业：10% （＊将每课的课文内容用自己的话写出来。） 3) 小考：20% 4) 预习讨论：20% （全班必须将课文的内容分段，每个人都必须分配到一个段落，并于下次课程介绍。） 5) 课程讨论与参与：20% 6) 成果发表：20%（未參與者不能參加期末考） 1.時間：15分鐘 2.題目：可以根据课文内容挑选一个题目，亦或者自行找一个与课程内容相关主题报告。 3.形式：表演、投影片、、、等等。 上述成績須達70％以上才能參加期末考！ 期末考：Pass:70%以上；Fail:70%以下！！！ Detailed sylabus please find in the "study materials".
