Course objectives
Basic aspects of light microscopy with a view to the zoological methods (contrast methods - dark field, phase contrast, differential interference contrast, fluorescence, measurement methods, photomicrography, drawing). Basic zoological techniques - nativ and permanent slides, fixation, staining, mounting media, embedding and cutting.
