Course objectives (in Czech)

Předmět je zaměřen na praktické procvičení práce s 2D a 3D digitizérem (tpsDig, MicroScribe), software pro analýzu obrazu (SigmaScan) a programy pro analýzu tvaru (TPS, Morphologica, Shape, EFAWin).

Syllabus (in Czech)

• 1. Historie a přehled současných prostředků morfometrie v antropologii. 2. Digitalizace kostí a částí těla živého člověka do formy kartézských souřadnic význačných bodů a křivek pomocí 2D a 3D digitizérů. 3. Analýza tvaru metodami geometrické morfometrie (Prokrustova superimpozice, Thin Plate Spline, Partial Warps, Eliptická Fourierova analýza), vizualizace a hodnocení tvarových rozdílů. 4. Možnosti a současné trendy histomorfometrie a kosterní antropologie. Praktické cvičení histomorfometrických metod na kostech a zubech pro rozpoznání biologického původu kosti a pro odhad dožitého věku jedince: konvenční metrické postupy (délkové míry, indexy, obsahy atd.). 5. Nástin možností aplikace pokročilých metod: (Eliptická Fourierova analýza, Eigenshape analysis, wavelet analysis.)

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Blokové cvičení pro omezený počet vážných zájemců z řad DSP studentů antropologie, ve výjimečných případech i z jiných oborů (po předchozí domluvě). Počet účastníků je omezen technickým vybavením. Ukončení zápočtem po diskusi nad laboratorním protokolem.
