The color of moleculs and its analytical exploitation. Basical indicator reactions. Immunochemistry and immunoanalytical chemistry. Analytical importance of nucleic acids (NA). Development and perrspectives of clinical chemistry.
Syllabus
  • The color of moleculs and its analytical exploitation. Basics of colorness theory (double bounds conjugation, aromatic and heteroccyclic compounds, susbstituents and molecule polarization and ionization, linear structure). Redox reaction of color molecules. Examples of applications. Basical indicator reactions (copulation, hydrogen peroxide reactions =oxidative copulation and leucobases oxidation, reactions with coenzymes NAD, tetrazolic salts and formazanes). Examples of applications. Immunochemistry and immunoanalytical chemistry. Classification of the methods (serological, precipitational, immunodiffusive with marked reactants). Competitive and noncompetitive modes, homogenic and heterogenic methods. The use of avidin and biotin. Analytical importance of nucleic acids (NA), structure and properties, target NA sequence. Polymerase chain reaction and its utilization for patogenic, forensic, prenatal diagnostics. Development and perrspectives of clinical chemistry. Consolidated laboratories and diagnostic centres. Miniaturization, chips, biosensors. Automatization in laboratory.

Course objectives
