Teaching methods
Presentations in Powerpoint are delivered. A particular attention is paid to the understanding of mechanisms and relations and to application of laws in practice. Students are frequently asked questions about discussed topics. Students are encouraged to act questions and be in interaction with the lecturer. Students will take part in 4 excursions in reference waste handling plants.
Assessment methods
It is not mandatory to be present at lectures. It is, however, strongly recommended to attend the lectures in order to understand topics under discussion. Information learned at lectures will be included into the final test. The final evaluation (at the end of the semester) will be carried out on the basis of a written test.
