Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to provide the students with the ability to
- solve basic problems from optics, quantum physics and solid state physics.

Teaching methods
seminary with active participation of the students, individual presentation of solutions to prescribed problems
Assessment methods
2 or 3 written tests during the semester.
Active participation (70 % attendance, presentation of prescribed problems) on the seminar and successful tests (50 %) are required for the credit.
